It seemed like an ok idea, but it was too slow. Too slow to download new areas, too slow to load new areas. And I would always be thinking that if I'm on PS3 I should probably be playing a game.

It's because the Falcons will win by 30 and the game will be terrible. What's worth really talking about?
Can we talk about car fixing guy for a minute? Is there any chance that on that hot ass day in the middle of the desert, that the single bottle of water he put in doesn't evaporate and he isn't stuck 500 feet down the road from the gas station?
To be fair, the Ravens are one of the most successful franchises since they started in 1996, and no one ever really talks about them other than to 1) debate Joe Flacco, 2) debate Ray Rice, or 3) talk about what a great GM Ozzie Newsome is. That is why fans think that they get no respect.
64 was the last Mariokart I really played, even though I owned a few subsequent ones. I had no idea Rainbow Road in that version was so beloved. I thought it was boring as hell even back then. Longer does not equal better.
And the one platform we picked has a smaller installed user base than the other options. We can't lose!
What's all this "you" talk? I'm a Ravens fan. And before anyone wants to comment on Flacco's contract in comparison, that was given to him after two straight years in the playoffs where Flacco carried them to the Super Bowl (if Lee Evans doesn't have a perfect pass knocked inexplicably out of his hands, they beat the…
Losing in the playoffs every year IS shitting the bed. Way too much talent on that team for them to be dragged down by Andy Dalton for the next 5 years.
That was actually written before the news of the contract broke. From the first line (before the article): "Today, hours after we published this article, Andy Dalton signed a six-year, $115 million extension with the Bengals. Consider this an argument against that deal."
The article itself is really just about how…
This was the reason that I only ever beat Red's playthrough.
The prices are certainly much too high, but when compared to certain other rental services, the prices aren't that bad. Blockbuster used to be $8 a week, so that is $96 to rent it for 12 weeks (90 days). Redbox is $2 a day for 30 days ($60 for 30 days), after which you can keep it the disk. Obviously there are better…
Agreed. Aeris was a terrible character. She was physically weak, her limits healed people in a game where healing was rarely necessary, and she was super mean to Barrett in Gold Saucer. In my mind, there was never a debate over whether Tifa or Aeris was better both as a character and as a love interest for Cloud.
Ghost Peach is brilliant. That gets my vote.
Lightning Returns for the PS3 is $30 today on Amazon. Not sure if it's ever been cheaper than that.

Completely agree. I'd actually love for them to remake it on more powerful consoles. The overworld was fine on the SNES and not much would even have to change, but the indoor sections would be great on current consoles.
There is absolutely a huge difference. People that disagree are the same people that have less taste buds than people who can taste a huge difference.
I'm just not into Nintendo games anymore. I look at those pictures up there and have no desire to play any of those games. 2-D Mario and Donkey Kong stopped doing it for me 20 years ago.
Votto at this stage of his career, would be one of the few players I would not consider trading for under any circumstances.

Another good point. Here's hoping the reveal of the actual bad guy at the end of the Navarro -> Cross -> ??? line is another "Holy Shit!" moment.
