If that many people are slamming into that wall, it’s a sign that something’s wrong with the road design. You need some flashing lights in that tunnel, some actual speed limit signs, something more than what they have now. Drivers aren’t going to always be paying 100% attention, and highway designers need to keep that

My boy, if you slam your fingers in a car door that you had to shut yourself, that’s your problem. If you get your fingers stuck into an electronic mechanism, that’s the vehicle’s problem.

I know this is a hot take, will generate controversy, and will doubtlessly cost me many friends and allies, but I find Ted Cruz to be a viscerally unpleasant person.

There’s an asterisk that this doesn’t apply to flights form Texas to Cancun.

Plenty of people, stop being a dick and look outside once in a while.

Did you read the article?  He used the sign after he was unable to get any buyers from his online ads.

Ya gotta give some credit to the designers who never washed their cars before in their lifetimes.

It is common for some luxury cars to have a Car Wash Mode.

Tesla just made those 3 toggles a single button.

It is not standard to word it like the whole warranty is voided. And Tesla has form in warranty voiding due to water ingress into the battery pack, even if it’s their own shitty design that allowed water in there in the first place.

To avoid water ingress you have to put it in “Boat” mode.

Again: This doesn’t explain the wholesale voiding of warranty, nor the water ingress they now don’t cover.

What the actual F?

The Cybertruck’s owners manual does caution against ever washing the truck in direct sunlight, and there is a section expressly mentioning that the truck has to be switched into “Car Wash Mode” before washing to avoid damage to parts of the vehicle.”

On what planet is this even reasonable for a TRUCK?

At this point, buying one seems like a self own. Like kicking yourself in the nuts seems easier.

It’s ridiculous that the company wants to eliminate shifters and let the car predict the gear/direction of travel on its own but it cannot determine that it is about to enter a car wash and be inundated with water from all angles.

I guess you better not schedule charging for late night hours lest a decepticon pops out of your garage come morning!

You can’t charge it after midnight either.

You can’t get it wet? I’m sure this has been said before but is it a gremlin?

i hope he still comes back for the occasional one-off.
