That was the problem with 2016. Even though there was a clear candidate by, say, April 2016, it still kept going. Party unity was a pejorative (much like I’ve seen lately here and elsewhere) when it was really needed at that point. It dragged to the point that it weakened Clinton in the long run.

Good on sanders, for once. He’s actually criticizing Biden - as he should - and taking ownership of it. He’s not doing it through surrogates and pretending he’s running a campaign full of rainbows, sunshine, and friendship (like he pretended to do in 2016.)

I would argue that sanders isn’t a Democrat, full stop, but that is being petty. The only way someone like Booker can get attention is throwing spitballs at people at the big table. He’s cooked in terms of his growth unless he distinguishes himself from others. Being really into charter schools and corporate medicine…

I don’t even give sanders that much pushback on this. He’s right overall, but he did kind of step in it. He should have immediately pushed back on it (“Why are you going to that extreme. What are you, 12 years-old?”) Now he has people like Booker on him.

I want thinking the same thing. I’m fuzzy in the finer points of the law, but I imagine setting up bogus accounts, business berries, and other various fraudulent accounts across state lines should warrant some kind of investigation. Could be wrong though.

Dear god, another one. I said in another post, Biden will flame out due to his not really being able to progress further than what he’s got. His name is carrying him, his milktoast policies and calls for decency just wont resonate with people.

I think Biden leads in the polls based on name recognition alone. It’s been said elsewhere, but I think he can only go down from here. There is no real room to grow from where he is currently. I think that means someone else could easily supplant him by the time the first debates begin. 

They should have had bernie do it, obviously. That would have fostered so much more understanding I’m sure.
