I thought there was going to be some shitty comments from dickbags like Ben Shapiro calling Manning “guy” or “sir” or whatever and not the NY Times pointing out that Chelsea used to be Bradley and Bradley leaked information to Assange.

It’s also the implication that all of those in the “press” must be protected, absolutely. Yeah, no. If that’s the case, I’m sure Alex Jones and the crazy crackers at Fox News would love to have that support from these writers as well.
Speaking of someone who lost the plot, you arrive. Kudos.
Exactly this. They seem to paint him with the brush of being a beleaguered journalist who simply took in the work and created the output. That’s not what he did, and you can look into the entire history of his advocacy and recognize that was never what he was about. He was always about getting into the fray: hacking,…
I would support Assange if he had stayed as a compendium of whistleblower information instead of someone who actively facilitated it. But even then, I was over him when he published scores of classified information that did not redact names.
I actually agree whole heartedly with this. If there is one thing that needs to be pulled left, it is the notion that health care is linked to having a robust insurance industry and that it should not be a part of the public good.
I agree. It is a straight ad-hominem attack and a little darker in my opinion. I say darker in that is seems like the Times is framing one accent as an outsider and not authentic while making other seem more. If they had mentioned it in passing once or twice that’s fine. For instance, I’ve spoken to people about a guy…
Hmm. That’s a shame then. Sounds like a 2020 version of Jonathan Edwards to me.
When someone inevitably takes a shot at her - or any of the others they are profiling - they will also inevitably say “no one saw this coming.”
I live near Historic Bethlehem in Pennsylvania. It was founded by the Moravians of Germany prior to the Revolutionary War. It used to be a privae enclave and now people live there.
rrpete is correct in the assessment.
His name is Holden...
Thanks for the insight. I’m only just learning about Buttigieg and his deeper views and would love to hear more.
Well bend over, buttercup. I’ll eat your anus out until your views make sense. I prefer syrup.
Also, I appreciate you being the gatekeeper on whose opinions should matter in the general discourse. Who else should we not listen to that you don’t approve of?
Yeah, you’re incredibly neolithic as well. That chip on your shoulder about shit you don’t even begin to understand really may sell well on forums, but when actual brick and mortar types situations arise, you’re - to quote Jim Cornette - whistling Stranger In Paradise.
I don’t think it has anything with being liberal or conservative in this case. I just mentioned that this person is liberal on issues, but does not like the idea of someone in the charge of secrets revealing them. That is that person’s opinion in a world I have no real context over.
Yeah it seems like a lot of the guys running in this “second tier” are essentially auditioning for future cabinet jobs or future runs at other positions. I don’t see that as inherently a bad thing.
That’s a completely myopic view on things. I’m sure it sounds good in the crowd you run with, but in reality that’s not the case.
I think the idea is that we get away from “I need an employer to have health insurance.” Thus we eliminate those who are stuck in jobs they can’t leave or those that leave (or are fired) from jobs and have to search all over again for health insurance.
Got ‘eeeeeeem.
