You’re only right about one think, Poe.

I agree. My objection was how the scrutiny is being applied to only certain people.
I don’t mind a preferred candidate. I honestly don’t have one, except for sanders that ain’t happening unless he wins the general.
Just an ineffectual politician.
No
She didn’t contribute to putting him on death row. Apathy is not a good look for her, but don’t just make shit up.
Yeah it is. In light of the last few days and the articles I’ve seen on another candidate, this reeks of a “hit” column. The last sentence really did it for me.
To anyone replying - I’m busy I would normally reply to all of you - I get that she should be vetted, but this part really irked me.
I’m for ending capitalism if this economic system we have in place is labeled as capitalism. At this point, I think a more hybrid version of whatever the fuck we call this mixed with socialism (or whatever) may be necessary.
The notion that basic societal needs (home, food, water, medical, etc.) are considered…
And the Harris hit column on cue.
The change they are at least proposing in on the good side. I’ll see how it pans out, but status quo is a no-go at this point.

Not necessarily. I can only speak from what I see, but it seems that the Democrats are focusing on the opposition to Maduro’s reign as the key to the future. We can debate that, and I don’t necessarily fault sanders for saying no to each of them.
The moment where someone in an argument has to go “well technically the Democrats were the Confederacy,” they’ve already lost. Semantic games like that go far in conservative blog or D’Souza movies, but not amongst actual thinking human beings.
If history is the judge, “radical” is the term applied before real political change occurs. I think they should continue wearing it until the conventional wisdom makes it so that label no longer suffices.
I mean... that’s the Democratic Party’s position. I personally don’t agree with them as I think the Venezuela situation is fluid and every changing, but they reserve the right to criticize a potential nominee for their party. It’s up to him to change their minds on that.
You almost had me agreeing with you until you brought up how your lord and savior has the best idea. No, his idea is that all we need to do is “life up the poor in middle class” and have absolutely no discussion on the other deep racial fractures in our society. I do think it is a wonderful idea to uplift all people…
I’m sure the boomers looking to see some of the “mulattos in that show about George Washington or whatever” while shopping for $20 umbrellas and eating at the Olive Garden will be mighty impressed by this guerrilla political marketing.
The spoons at Wawa are the worst. Way too damn deep that the cut into your bottom lip if you’re not careful.
