As an EFC supporter, I actually feel like this was a needed result. A stomping by your rival just might get ownership to realize that Martinez is way out of his depth. RM seems like a great dude, but a shit manager with a team that should be fighting for Europe.

watch the video again — multiple gloves.

You seem like so much fun. We will miss you.

TBH I didn’t really write out the whole argument. Your argument is based on him having only one contract, mine was based on a second or third contract.

Set aside I wasn’t implying that all star is the only thing that can equate success, this is a pretty damn good counter. Point taken. Thanks for setting me straight.

I don’t think you can actually make a rule out of something that is, itself, the exception (Having NBA talent AND staying more years).

Certainly a good decision in early financial gains, but in the long run, I dunno.

Yeah, in a vacuum that makes sense, but look at the money Buddy Hield is going to make himself by staying. He went from a mid second rounder to a lottery.

As much as I appreciate his honesty, is he actually doing any good for his recruits/players? Of all of his one-and-dones, only a small few of them (Wall, Towns, Davis) have actually excelled in the NBA. Wouldn't the Terrence Jones of the world actually benefitted from an extra year or two at UK?

I am just going to leave this here

Went back and re-read that trade: the thunder turned down a 26 year old Tyson Chandler for an old Joe Smith, a useless Chris Wilcox and someone that sounds like a NBA live generated player. I think Chandler could have had his foot amputated, I still might’ve pulled the trigger.

He simply made a point about the author that you happen to disagree with. I agree with you (and from what I can tell the OP does too) that the article is terrible, misguided and disrespectful to all involved, but no need to call him an idiot.

geez, to be fair he is defending the author (albeit in my opinion, incorrectly), not the accused.

Just like you, when you play in the NBA or do you play in a REALY strict rec league team?

For those who also had no idea what the Kerr thing was:

To my eyes, it is an inability to stay in close games and hold leads. A lot of it is youth, some is a PG that has no ability to shoot in crunch time and the third is a not that great grinder of a coach.

Does Kanell always have that jackass grin on his face?

what if it is Whitlock and an additional 32 dollars a day?

yeah, that and every other sport that exists.
