I guess I'm an idiot, but how do you create a new Firefox profile? And what do you lose by doing so?

It says they slow down Firefox startup, but do those extensions actually slow Firefox performance once it's started up?

The problem I had with PayPal was that the item I received was NOT the item described in the auction. (This was several years ago). You don't really need to take along clothespins if you're staying in a hotel. There are pant/skirt hangers in the closet that have clothespins built in. And you get double protection!
