And when that adapter falls off or gets lost at some point? Or when I want to use it in my car, but oops, I left it connected to my headphones, which are back at home?

Let’s say I don’t like the quality of bluetooth headphones and I tend to use my phone heavily during the day. I currently end up using a battery pack with a wired headphone ... this won’t be possible as you’ll have to plug either headphone adapter or battery pack.

And when I forget my adapter and I want to listen to music in my car (which does not have bluetooth)? If I have to leave my adapter plugged into the phone at all times, or carry it separately with me at all times, how is that convenient? How is that an improvement in functionality?

This is really important, our smartphones are packed with technologies...it’s all fighting for space. Maintaining an ancient analog connector doesn’t make sense
