I’m a simple man - I see a story about Cristin Milioti, I evangelize for Year of the Carnivore:

Well, if he had died, I’m pretty sure Mike Pence wouldn’t have been calling for attacks on Mike Pence.

Interesting how we can be equally impressed at how much improvement there’s been in 100 years AND at just how capable the machine was 100 years ago.

Shots fired!

I will never understand how the Bricklin has remained an obscure oddity niche when it’s one of the most remarkable platforms for building anything from a basic cruiser to a wild custom - all with truly exotic looks.

Handling, safety, performance are lightyears ahead of most anything made even 10 years ago

I also remember the Hans and Franz doing a bit about how if they had hit their heads on the platform they would have broken it.

Your hack fix is bad and you should feel bad.

It’s an interesting footnote, but there’s no conceivable reason to buy this car. It’s a nice but oddball machine on the verge of it’s 20th birthday. Cars have come so far in safety alone in those 20 years that it’s hard to imagine rationalizing buying this thing vs. something 10 years newer.

I hate to pick on a child, but look at this smug expression.

I guess they also expect him to make it a crime to masturbate? Or skip church?

Part of this is on us

You’re literally too kind.

Corrupt union boss is rooted out and sent to jail.

I have such a deep and abiding hatred for JJ - I felt some relief that her hegemony over a large swath of North American culture was coming to and end, and now I find out that she seems to be growing in power?

Handing him a time penalty after the fact does nothing

It legit amazes me and kind of pisses me off that this thing can get better fuel economy than my smaller, lower, lighter, 100hp Mazda2.

And SC started strong and then sucked from the middle to the end. It started as a fish out of water story, which is a funny premise. Then there was all this growth and development, and the family came to be part of the town, and now you’ve got a fish in water story, which isn’t a thing - because it’s boring and stupid.

I’ve been watching the show as it was released since S1. S5 is fine, the finale is very good. No, it doesn’t “wrap up” everything - but it changes tone a bit it goes a bit deeper, more personal, and is a last loving look at a rich set of characters.

It makes anything with an internal combustion engine seem... paltry
