FireFox lost the browser wars years ago when they stopped development and even IE became a faster browser. Chrome is King these days, and even has the same Apps and customization we loved in FireFox.

FireFox used to be my primary browser, and I used Opera as a secondary. Chrome came out, and though it was sleek, it really didn't have the same plugins that FireFox did, so I stayed with Firefox.

You should also consider, that even though you have a high download bandwidth, the upload bandwidth of the source may be limited below that. i.e., just because you have 50MBps, does not mean that you can download from one source at that speed.
