"Evil seagulls" is redundant.

The only problem I have with the idea is that I don't trust developers to leave it at just used games. How long before you get a discount on the online pass for buying new instead of it being free?

At least some of the games that do this on Xbox offer a free 48 hour trial of the online. So maybe Playstation games will get the same treatment.

Unless I missed something with the Rockstar Pass, even people who buy the game new have to pay for it.
