the problem is that while it's clear he's not the answer, there's nothing on the free agent market that's an obvious upgrade (unless you truly believe Mark Sanchez and Brian Hoyer are clear upgrades) and the draft reminds me 2013, where the "top" options were Geno Smith and E.J. Manuel.

I still like Emery and his aggressive approach. It's not always gonna pan out, but I feel like he hit more than he missed. He also did something in 3 years that Angelo NEVER did: Fixed WR, Fixed the OL (until injuries came back), and didn't draft bust after bust in the first round (Long and Fuller).

As a Bears fan, I'm glad Trestman is gone. Last year, while they put up numbers, it always felt like a good majority of those "gaudy" numbers came in garbage time.
