Cadillac made a 472 from 1968- that eventually became the 500. It's also a Mopar crate Hemi.

Big win because no more camo'd Phantom
F355 Challenge, and sadly he barely walked away. Third-degree burns to his face (from when he was laying on his back there, the melted visor oozed onto his face) and as a result of the crash, he could never move his right shoulder, arm, and fingers properly and never raced again.
Best I can claim is a Model A roadster pickup and one of the fuel injected '57 Chrysler 300Cs. The guy who owned it had all 17 or 18 of the original Bendix injection systems. He told me the only thing wrong with them was a poorly designed relay. Dunno.
Octane magazine did a great piece on that car last month, it's pretty amazing. Even Toyota believed that not a single example had survived. The one in the Toyota museum is a recreation. Great call.
Yeah, no kidding, I need to go down to the building garage and make sure it's still the way I left it.
Yeah, totally kidding. I figured the absurdity of it would speak for itself.
I've been trying to tell people this all along! After watching that Top Gear special about the RS6 Avant, I realized I'd die for one, only to find it wasn't available here! Talk about crushing.
Dude that's eerily similar to what happened to me. I was also 18, coming back from my girlfriend's house in Sacramento (I live in LA), it was 11:15am and I had an energy drink but I didn't want to have to stop to pee, so I hadn't opened it. I had the cruise control set at 93 in my '84 325e and briefly fell asleep.…
I had a girlfriend for years who had/still has a '58 Custom post coupe, and I'll always have a soft spot for those things. I never understood people looking down on them, I mean I know the '57s were gold, but I like the '58s a lot. Same goes for the '58 Chevys, I always liked them way more than the '57s. The…
I never thought I'd want a Bowtie...
Exactly, and the people they're buying those cars to impress wouldn't notice the difference between a 365 GTB and a 280Z.
I think the market quite naturally regulates 250 sales. $15 million + isn't actor money, that's on another level. I don't care how high your rap song debuted on the Billboard charts, you cannot drop $15 million dollars on a vintage car.
I have to say, looking at the base LX standard features, it actually comes pretty well equipped. It does have Bluetooth, it comes with 7 speakers + sub, wheel-mounted controls, even a 2GB music drive. Best part is, it comes with a roof spoiler with INTEGRATED BRAKE LIGHT!
I saw a really nice example of nearly that exact truck, diesel and all, but wasn't aware that they're bad trucks. What is wrong with them?
Why do they have to do so much bodywork on a brand new car?
