It's not unbelievable, it's a question of which is more probable.
It's not unbelievable, it's a question of which is more probable.
I mean it all makes perfect sense... which is more likely:
Back in the day, our newsroom got access to a database to look up people's criminal records — my editor promptly disclosed he had been arrested for public lewdness in college. He SAID he was walking down a dark street smoking a J and a cop rolled up on him — he didn't have time to dump it, so he squashed it in his…
I love it when a girl grabs my crotch through a leather jacket. Very sexy.
If NCAA players feel commercially exploited, there are two ways to fix that:
They shouldn't be allowed to charge more than it costs to put on. If you don't allow them to charge, you're going to stop having basketball games with any significant attendance.
Yeah, but if you pay them $20k a year, it'll take about six months before Deadspin starts whinging about how THAT isnt' really fair, I mean, do you know how much money the NCAA makes on the backs of those poor players and they're ONLY paying them $20k.
So, that still doesnt' solve the problem. Only a handful of schools will pay their players, and what should the rest do?

Having covered the White House, yes, it's pretty close to.
It's published publicly.
That was the first issue I ever received, when I was 12. I don't think it occurred to my mom that when she got me a subscription to SI that this would show up. I was in love.
No, looks pretty great to me.
I'm with you. On the hoon-per-dollar ratio, buying used makes a lot of sense, but at this point in my life I'm looking for a car that drives me the places I want to go, is enjoyable to drive and is not a piece of shit. I'd rather buy a cheaper new car, which as you point out has lots of nice options, than a fancy…
You know what's immoral, acting like it's totally cool for A-Rod to have doped just so long as he doesn't have a positive test on record.
The NYT reviewed the three major small electric cars available on the market right now last week and seemed to conclude they're all quick off the line and fun to drive in the city — but suck on the highway.
