Gotta disagree with you, the Aurora was fantastic. I also see them occasionally, generally in silver.

Mind if i ask what company she was CEO of prior to GM? Genuinely curious...
Yep, same engine. Also, you could have gotten a Riveria with just the plain 3800. Supercharger was optional until 98, then it became standard.
Its odd because I know people who have had bad luck with the original Saturns and then i know people who put over 200,000 miles on them. I think some S-Series had teething issues but on the whole, they were reliable. In the end, if you treated your S-Series well, it treated you well.
Had great luck with the Saturn S-Series but im not sure its a fair comparison to Daewoo since Saturn was technically GM.
The Chrysler Cirrus was pretty handsome for its day, was never a fan of the bottom feeder grill of the Sebring that replaced it though.
She didnt. Its back tracking vocals.
The orginal epa rating for the 2002 Sc1 5 speed was 28 city 40 highway. http://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/calculator…
Very very wrong! The S-Series are known to last well over 200,000 miles if properly maintained. They can nickle and dime you but the engines just don't go, the sheer amount of Saturn S's still on the road should be proof of that.
Its an SC1 with a 5 speed and yes, these things can 100% absolutely get over 40 mpg if driven right.
I think your low balling it a tad. If this wasn't carmax, i could see this going for about $3,000. Still, clean goes a long way in used car value.
Your right. Saturn's plastic body panels died when they became rebages. The Ion, S-Series, L-Series and first generation Vue all had the plastic dent resistant body panels. The Aura, Astra, Relay, Solstice and Outlook were all steel.
The Z platform was completely unique to Saturn(cant tell if your agreeing with me or not).
The Z platform was designed completely in house by Saturn and was only ever used for the S-Series. The Vue was on the Theta platform(first one). Your right though that the L-Series shared a platform with the Vectra.
In 2004, there were still a bunch of wagons on the market. Volvo had the V40 and V70 and XC70, Ford had the Taurus/Sable and Focus wagons, Subaru had the Legacy and Outback, Volkswagen had the Jetta and Passat wagons, Saturn had the LW, Saab had the 9-5, Mercedes had the E-Class and C-Class, Audi had the A6 and A4,…
Rear mounted spare tires tend to destroy the rear windshield in low speed crashes. Thats why they've been fazed out. They look good but there not worth it.
I care! I care so much!!!
Cold rain + heater = a very steamy car. There very helpful in winter rain.
There the worst thing to put on your car? Really? You may think there ugly but they have alot of function. I don't smoke but i love driving with the windows down in the rain because of my crappy AC. These things are a godsend. There also great for cars that get steamed up very quickly that have slow defrosters,…
What uninformed BS. Hate on the Neon all you want, that's fine. Really though, the Escort and Caviler weren't any better. BUT...Chrylser was profitable and competitive in every segment before Daimler came into the picture.
