Didnt mean to put L-series in there, you had to upgrade to the LS1 to get leather and that meant standard power locks and windows. S-Series, Leather in any model you wanted outside of the stripper SL. Point still stands, weirdly optioned saturns out there. Thinking about it though, i guess it would be nice to have

There was indeed a manual. The Automatic was a two thousand dollar option in every trim, meaning you could get a manual in any version of the S-Series you wanted. There are a lot of weirdly optioned Saturn's out there actually. You could get an Sl2 with nothing but the bigger engine and a manual, that meant no power

Im pretty sure they just burned oil. Never heard of sludge problems.

You might think they were crap but they had to have done something right, theirs so many of them still on the road looking pretty decent with there plastic panels. Car and Drive did test a later year 5 speed SL2, i think a 96. They got a 0-60 in 7.8 seconds. I guess the gained some weight with the third refresh,

This is a Suzuki with a GM badge. The convertible was actually imported from Japan by Suzuki unlike its sedan and hatchback siblings that were built in Canada.

You named songs from every one of her albums that you liked. Edge of glory and Marry the night are from the same album as Born this way and Judas(Born this Way), Alejandro and Bad Romance are also on the same album(the fame monster). Everything she releases wont be your cup of tea. You might not like her new song but

Three stars without side airbags, not two. Im sure the it would be bumped up a star or two with the optional side airbags, hence why i say there preferable.

I think your S had a problem, probably needed a good hug and a new exhaust system.

SOHC has 8 valves, DOHC has 16 valves. Due to this, SOHC is 100HP (85HP in earlier models) and DOHC is 124. Same engine made in the same factory, just two different variants. The wiki link you just gave me doesn't dispute that, in fact it says nothing of Opel origins either. You might be thinking of the L-series. It

Its good to hear, we've got a 2002 SC with 65,000 miles on it and its been amazing. I didnt know the 1.9 was Opel though, i thought it was a Saturn in-house product. Whatever the case, its a great little engine.

Any year Saturn S-Series. They get good safety ratings, great gas mileage and have decent reliability and since they were so popular back in the day, parts are cheap/available and all of the issues a teenager will encounter are documented and have easy fixes. They also came in wagon form which is a plus in my book.

But it didnt behave poorly in the German test. You need to have multiple tests from multiple sources in order to get the most accurate results, if you dont then you have a biased sample. Since both tests give completely different results, i don't know one way or the other how well it would actually perform in real

Im not saying you shouldn't take into account the Swedish test, but its not the only test.

It passed the German Moose test if it makes anyone feel better. I'm also suspect of the results.

And the Saturn Ion
