I've met two kinds of people on the web that disliked it:

Except the unicycle is a expensive car beloved by many from their childhood.

Never been done better.

FREEDOM PREVAILS!

Meanwhile, At Warner Bros...

That looks good and quite a bit different from what I expected.

Holy fuck that looks awesome.

I'm loving the tone of this movie!

HOT DAMN THIS IS MY JAM

Those are great! I know people are doing a lot of stuff with Lego and Gundam, but it would be a beautiful thing to see hard sci-fi pulled off in the vein of Elgin Park.

I remember seeing previews for this movie, (maybe when I saw Superman in the theatre? Not sure...) The previews gave me nightmares. To this day, I've never seen the movie.

I should never have been exposed to He Who Kills as a young kid.

That scene where we see the Phantom World is still creepy...

Ok, not a movie (so I'm screwing this up right away), but this show almost always gave me nightmares as a kid in the 70's. Haven't seen it in a while, and probably doesn't hold up over over time, but man! That opening sequence!

Salem's Lot 1979, I was 8

Warning: You may become more critical of depictions of these characters in other shows and mediums afterwards.
