Yeah, bad design. It looks like it's purposely made to be a CG figurine instead of what it's supposed to be... a suit worn over another suit of armor. Secondly that turtle head wouldn't even work ergonomically for a person in it. Ah well, it's the suit equivalent of Hulk, it'll smash some stuff.
