I don't understand the hate either but I do understand the criticisms which I think are valid.

You can see the Matheson influence on Romero in Last Man on Earth. Those are walkers, yo.
Yeah I'd give that RC chopper about... 15 seconds before it was a ball of melted plastic.
Ah, that makes sense. Was wondering why you'd study Hawaiian bees, but the least affected population would be the best.
Enjoy. Whole series is up on the youtube. You are only hurting yourself by not watching it.
So Hawaii is where they have Bee Zero?
Exactly. This is why I like Aliens.
It was kid-friendly, cross-generational, but also it felt local. Like a really good public access show. (which, didn't it start out that way?) Plus Frank and Dr. Forrester were the best.
Totally agree. I never got people that preferred Mike to Joel, although I still like Mike. The tone of the show went from laconic to frenetic.
Oh Joel, prop comedy hasn't been the same without ya.
The other factor is you sort of need to let the audience accept the actors-as-comic-heroes. An advantage of having set-up films helps the suspension of disbelief and cognitive dissonance of a (most likely new) actor portraying someone much larger than life. Batman's past that hurdle, and Supes maybe... for the rest…
I'll have to disagree since of the 3D trailers I saw at a recent Avengers showing, TASM was clearly the best. Considering Avengers was a post-conversion I'm assuming they took the same tack on this and it looked exceptional. Prometheus was a close second but only looked okay, as 3D. And I really do NOT like 3D. Did…
A parody of a knock-off DMB song, even better.
