Thank you for making my morning, love this—you’re the man

The difference is that WoW is funding their game with monthly subscriptions. There’s a difference between buy to play and pay to play. Buying a game is a one time deal and you own it. Pay to play you literally have to pay money to continue playing it like most MMO’s from the mid 2000’s and WoW now.

Seriously.

The difference is that this isn’t a PVP. The guy next to you who is helping you win. If they spend money to make your team better YAY. You literally did nothing and you’re profiting from it.

I think it’s a deserved criticism of the article.

Think people forget that the gaming world is quite literally a business, and small company’s that have a strong community that bought the game once only make expensive servers and a lot of talking head. If this is a way for people to support the developers I think it’s fine and dandy. I agree with some people that

Destiny does this already with Taken King and Year II content. If you don’t pay $40 you’re left in the dust with content. It’s a paid extension to the original game that effects PvP and PvE.

You’re right. There would be. I think the important thing to point out-and something that makes your argument weak- is that WOW is pay to play. So you literally have to pay to do anything in WOW. It’s pay to play.

It’s players vs. AI. While I might understand the frustration in a PvP game this is just absolutely silly to get pissed off at. The game has been out for years. This is the one of the dumbest things I’ve seen the gaming community get pissed off at in the last year.

Do we know if Need for Speed Hot Pursuit is backwards compatible? I still go back once every few months to that game—loved how the cars felt and drove. The drifting was the best and you felt like you were going fast. Not bad looking either for even now.

This looks super fun. Backwards Extreme fishing with some Splunky

Finally a game that really pushes the Telltale engine.

Interesting.. you think that Kickstarter would be the way to continue unhindered creatively but I’m guessing Team17 offered them a lot more money..

laugh out loud.

I’m not defending the dude who said that the UR4 textures were crap—I’m saying that Star Fox is a bad example for your argument. Honestly from what I’ve seen from Nintendo in the past decade.. what I saw at E3 is something they would release as a full game next year. Nintendo is not in the market for graphics. Which

Because it looks like it’s right out of the late 90’s. Idc how much power needs to go to both screens. It’s a bad example of a ‘good looking’ game.

Star Fox Zero is one of the weirdest examples to choose from..

This is one of the worst marketing teams out there..

I feel like this game shouldn’t exist. I really haven’t looked at it that much but this it was you kind of dream about as a kid when you’re playing with legos.
