I think what games need to make sim racers take the next 'step' is just realistic environments. I mean this is better. But there are too many times where I'm racing goin' "Wow, this looks great" and then take a turn or brake and look at the fake crowd and go "...huh. Thank you cardboard people for cheering me on".…
Thank you.
Would make sense if it was for internal changes within Microsoft. Not for xbox 360 changes in a general sense.
But this isn't new news. Theyve had this policy for years now. Dont see why they decided to change it now. Team Fortress on xbox would be a different game at this point.
I love how people took a general metaphor I said and have continued to show me that I have no idea what bits are. I know what bits are. I know what voxels are. I wasnt saying this literally is 16 bit. I was saying that the visual difference/simularity between the two is enough to be a jump from 8 to 16. Why are people…
"If minecraft is retro then this is retro." Doesn't really work..
I mean 8-bit is more of a 'style' or theme at this point. Non of the files that are created with the 8-bit flavor don't actually use 8-bits. It's much much more than that at this point. I'm speaking more in tone and how they deal with minimalism.
If minecraft is 8 bit, this is 16 bit. Not literally of course.. but still..
It's the combining of all of them that got my fancy. Nothing is original anymore. Thats the effect of being in the world that we live in. But combining preexisting ideas into something that works in a different enough mixture.. that could get me interested.
Ermm... Kotaku did a article a little while ago about it, but I don't know if it was scratched or not following the DRM stuff always online stuff. Hope not. Sounded interesting.
Ill give the benefit of the doubt. Maybe its more fun to play than it is to watch. Same with the Oculus Rift.
I loved CoD MW2. I admittedly played the shit out of it online, and was pretty good to boot. I hated every CoD game that wasn't created by Infinity Ward. They, to me, didn't play well and just weren't fun. Online was wonky. I haven't enjoyed a Black Op MP match, and I haven't played a few matches without having to…
2 gimmicks; Giant Robots, and freerunning+Jetpacks.
Thats fair, I gotchu. Ive gotten into it and out of it a couple of times already.
If a game was able to get you play 100 hours of it.. at one point you enjoyed it. And it sounds like you did the things you were supposed to do. Even if they were stupid things, you still did them. Your allowed to not like it but you loose a bit of creditability when you played a 100 hours and then decided it wasn't…
Hated Prototype with an fire-y passion. People are allowed to like it but no without them knowing I hated it haha.
Definitely not overlooked.
...huh...
If thats the case companies can't be rewarded for doing poorly.
