"Free advertising" is irrelevant. It's NBC's IP. They own all the rights and all the rights for any derivative works. This is a derivative work. They even have the right not to create derivative works if they don't want to.

What you're confusing is something called "fair use." Just changing the name of something doesn't constitute fair use.

The owner of an IP has the right to all derivatives of their work, even the right to not explore such derivatives. NBC is persuing licensing for video games based on Battlestar Galactica so they have the sole right to explore this derivative on their own.

Batman, Superman, Justice League, and Swamp Thing are worth checking out. Not sure about Demon Knights. The Walking Dead (Image Comics) is a great read. Also, one of the best superhero comics is Invincible (also from Image Comics). I highly suggest getting The Walking Dead and Invincible trades to get you up to speed.

By claiming you're an artist you somehow expect us to give your opinion on the game's artistic direction more weight? By claiming you only played the game for "3 minutes" just tells us that you have no idea what you're talking about. And using ad-hominem attacks such as referring to the game as an "8 year old south

"DC, the publisher of Superman, Batman and Ambush Bug."

You're right. I don't think the business could allow consumers to select individual channels and create a single package that they pay for. But they can offer more package selections with varying price points. They do this already, however, most cable companies only offer a handful of package choices.

I don't know about Dish Network, but DirecTV already does something like this. You can choose the movie channels you want. They have different pricing models which adds or subtracts various blocks of channels. If the Oprah Winfrey network can't exist without being bundled into larger cable packages, then it should

Couldn't agree with you more.

I seriously think we need a video game concept art museum at the Smithsonian.

When you buy a new table you'll have the peace of mind knowing it's backwards compatible.

Coffee table book with all the lovely art please.

OMG I loved this game!

I concur. This matter is made even worse if you have to go through a long load time combined with a cut scene you can't skip through. Watching a cut scene for the eleventy-second time just to die in 30 seconds and start over is aneurysm inducing.

Oh god, more racial diversity. How about devs just focus on making great games and go with whatever "race" makes sense given the context of the story they're trying to tell. As an aside, I love saving the world thank-you-very-much.

I agree. Haters are gonna hate. This game looks amazing.

I'm guessing he ninja looted Deadmines.

In the US that would be attempted murder and assault as well as a host of other charges. But the UK is much nicer.

INORITE? This fall/winter is looking to have a great lineup of game releases.

My excitement for the game has faded to almost nothing. Not because of the online DRM or lack of mods, but because the game was announced 4 or 5 years ago and we still don't have the game.
