@turbo steve: "Pro business laws hurt the consumer?" This is *not* a "pro business" law. 1) This is an interpretation of existing law. 2) This is not "pro business" but rather "pro government regulation". Big difference. There are tons of "laws" that could be enacted that are pro business and pro consumer at the same

@turbo steve: Well if you buy a home and pay off your mortgage you're still just leasing it from the government. Little thing called property taxes. Try not paying those! You'll find a lien on your house which, if you don't pay, leads to your property being seized and you being thrown out by the sheriff. Or they just

@Demonbird: They've always been like this, for as long as I can remember anyway. There's a reason the court is usually referred to as "The 9th Circus."

@Ash Paulsen: And your statement is completely ignorant of economic principles. Consider the simple fact that even with used video game sales the game industry continues to expand. All rulings like this do is a) hurt consumers, b) turn law abiding citizens into criminals, c) establishes reasons for game companies to

Unfortunately this has really hurt Stardock's reputation. Unfortunately in the real world you're only as good as your most recent failure. I think people are going to be a bit gun shy with Stardock's next release. Hopefully the damage control they're running on Elemental will alleviate some of those issues down the

Ah Blizzard. How I love/hate thee. I love your games so much that I hate them.

Oh nice! I never did play this game. Looking forward to trying it out now.

Wow. Color me impressed. Very nice job.

I too want a sentient life form I can enslave!

@foofad: The game plays exactly like the tabletop version of the game. This is really just a virtual board game. If you like Blood Bowl you'll love it.

Served as an ATC in the Navy. Can't wait to try this out. Although civillian ATC is not as "interesting" as carrier ATC.

@Slatz_Grobnik: While I respect your position and believe you when you say, "it is not acceptable," you have to understand that you do not have the right to not be offended.

Hey Kotick. If you make a quality *movie* and you released it on blu-ray with other scenes about the game etc, then you might be on to something.

Those aren't circus elephants. Those are Republicans set to trounce come November.

Took him "years" huh? Even at 2 years that's a salary of 22,500/year. Although it probably took him longer than that...

That SS guy looks like a Jedi...

This wasn't so much that the woman was addicted to a video game, but the fact that her husband died and she more than likely never fully grieved and dealt with that process. The video game just filled a void to the Nth degree. Drugs or alcohol could've taken the place of the game just as easily.

EDF is amazazazazing. Can't wait for part deux!!
