Well, it sounds to me like they have no clue what they'll offer in terms of pricing structure. And even if they do go with MTs, that doesn't equate to failure. Many games (and not just MMOs) offer some form of MT after launch. If you want the extra stuff, great, if not that's great too.

@dtalon03: You know, it's possible you might actually 'save' money with microtransactions. You could spend 10 bucks on MTs a month and get exxactly what you want versus 15 a month and hope you get what you want.
