Considering the news about Joe Ricketts this week, this is actually quite timely.

In a 1991 book, one of Trump’s former colleagues recalled him saying, “Black guys counting my money! I hate it. The only kind of people I want counting my money are little short guys that wear yarmulkes every day.” (Trump called the things written about him in the book “probably true.”)

You do realize there’s over 72 definitions of Sharia, right? Malaysia’s version doesn’t have capital punishment for adultery for example, and zero of them allow honor killings (which is a garbage cultural practice).

Ricketts is not just some racist billionaire, he was a major Trump donor (in the millions), and is finance chair of the Trump Victory Committee, a joint fundraising committee for the RNC and Trump’s re-election campaign. He’s a SuperPAC donor, co-founded several lobbying organizations, and former board member of

Painfully racist. Sadly, I see a lot of my Republican relatives forward these, and every so often a Republican politician has to apologize for accidentally posting one of these on their Facebook page.

Because, like Bill O’Reilly, he has genuinely racist ideas and beliefs and when he gets caught crossing the line yet again he tries to play them off as jokes. Just like Bill O’Reilly when he gets caught in similar gaffes.

So what’s your solution, ban people for life over a teenage mistake? Make them go away and with zero shot of redemption?

As I understand it, there were 3 tribes in question. Two supported her, the third publicly complained. She made peace with this third one.

Let’s rewind for a moment and remember how this mess started. Republicans unearthed an old comment she made where she said that her grandparents told her she had a Native American ancestor. Trump called her Pocahontas and Republicans jeered at her, calling her a liar. So to shut them up she took a DNA test after Trump

And what mess did she start? She said that her grandparents told her she had a Native American ancestor. Trump called her Pocahontas and Republicans jeered at her, calling her a liar. So to shut them up she took a DNA test after Trump repeatedly goaded her into one, and yes she had evidence of a Native American

Night lawnmowing? That sounds awful from a neighbor standpoint.

Of course Trump will try again. He’s a bully who got embarrassed, he will try again to try and regain some of his image. I guarantee he is looking into ways to keep airports open but the rest of the government shut down in 3 weeks.

Trump/Pence wouldn’t know MLK if he slapped him in the face. Then again, Pence walked out of an NFL game over kneeling but then had the gall to tweet how MLK was a marvelous example of nonviolent protest.

A “Glomar response” is “we can neither confirm nor deny the claims.” Named after the Glomar Explorer story where the CIA was trying to raise a sunken Russian nuclear sub to get its secrets.

I thought the defense was that they were using the word that ended in -a and not -er.

Trump never cared about Due Process, he supported Guantanamo and taking guns away. He doesn’t know how the laws work and couldn’t get through a single explanation of the Constitution before growing bored around the 4th Amendment.

Yes. He said the N-word. He also said a lot of racist things about Arabs and some bigoted things about Muslims, but somehow he’s got some hardcore fans. He’s a leftwing version of Bill O’Reilly.

Because they’re dismissing his experiences in favor of their dogma. He hasn’t seen any tangible effect in his neighborhood, and they can’t picture it. If you can’t grasp the despair in low-income black communities, you shouldn’t lecture because it makes you come off as condescending.

Don’t give Maher any more exposure. He’s a racist and bigot, and the sooner he goes away the better.

They’re small blankets. Not rugs. Some dumb rancher assumed a blanket was a prayer rug.
