LOMAC however, does work

You know I have IL2, Forgotten Battles, The pacific one, the aces expansion and 1946 and used to play it everyday but the bastard won't work on windows 8, so I have to keep my old laptop just in case I get the itch. Such a good game.

The gap and associated flap allows the pilot to adjust how much air goes into the intake or something like that - most F-4 phantom IIs had it, apart from the british ones which were re-engined. I like it. Just curious, re under fuselage intakes, what do you thing of the intake on the P-51 Mustang?

Now playing

Tyler, I love your write-ups. Whilst we are on the topic of obscure ground attack prototypes, have you heard of the Swiss FFA - P-16? A Gentleman on youtube has some great archival footage along with a (in my view) good backing track here:

Hey Brin - I don't give a flying fuck about smartphones and apps and needlessly digitizing things that only take a tiny modicum of effort to begin with.

I think it depends on how fatalistic you are as a person. I had two motorcycles, and two motorcycle crashes, both my fault. The first one was one where I could have gotten run over, after getting hit from behind by him (my fault as I decided to be a dick for a change and risked crossing into the lane when I should

That video is fucking amazing

(although that Lexus bullshit was fucking terrible)

Meh, ads help pay for Jalopnik. It's this symbiotic relationship that allows mr george the time to find these youtube videos for us, and for people to make 685hp Opel Kadetts

I'd honestly take the Kadett. A) because no matter how many people disagree with me, everytime I have seen a 458 I can't warm to it, there is something I really don't like about the styling but I can't put my hand on it. If it were a 599 then ok. B) because a friend of my parents in Switzerland had an Opel Kadett

Daartz Pombrom. All the classless flashy excess that Americans are known for overseas, wrapped up of course in a giant SUV body (the most American of body types) and of course available fully armoured because we all know all Americans have guns so its sensible to do so.

Does the D in Dsquared mean Douche?

(Once they start sorting out the issues that give some people headaches)

I've been in the cockpit of a 747 in flight and the windows are so big I was scared (I was about 4) of falling out of them. The view is awesome.

Gotta say those F-16s in European Green camouflage look hot.

Speaking of badge-engineered Suzukis, who could forget the Holden Drover? (Everyone)

Is it just me or is there a slight 1980s rangie thing going on?

Well there is the A340

Wow thanks for replying given that there were already 189 replies to your piece and I'm guessing it's something like 6am in the US. Dedication

I really enjoyed reading your review. However, I am a little confused - I had assumed that the Regal GS would be basically the American market Insignia OPC, a car that has 321hp from it's 2.8l turbo V6, as well as having all-wheel-drive. Are Buick going to release a version of that car?
