Are you seriously going to suggest that the inclusion of something we wanted (dual analog sticks) has anything to do with the Vita's failure? Don't be ridiculous. The system failed up to this point because of three things: A lack of games/support, lack of a killer app to build critical mass, and Sony's refusal to

That sure takes me back. I remember when EGM was filled with all sorts of zany editorial speculation. Gamefan too, but gamefan was so effusive in its love that it was infectious.

I somehow doubt that Capcom is smart enough to know how to make this work as a f2p game, given their complete inability to connect with their fanbase in general.

I've personally experienced it, and can confirm that time dilation is a very real experience you can have in certain situations. That said, I don't think it's a good gameplay mechanic.

Regenerative health is lazy design that devalues strategy and planning, allowing bad players to survive situations that they probably should not.

I wish more Japanese games were "not ported very well" to the US, so I didn't have to still put up with so many awful dubs. :P

You act as though it isn't factual. I'm on my 4th 360, and I don't even use it that much. I take exceptionally good care of my machines too.

You can make anything sell out by making the initial quantity available very low and then quickly replacing it with much larger second shipments. MS was able to do this with the surface RT, and we all see how well that turned out.

In regards to the lack of Xbox One hype in Japan, that will also come after the release date announcement. The same can be said for other areas that still do not have an official release date. Said Penello enthusiastically, "We want it to be great where it launches."

No way in hell it will be that amazing. Especially with the steambox set to be announced officially in the next few days.

Could have fooled me. :P

If you don't understand that something can be legal but immoral or moral while being illegal, we're going to have a very hard time coming to any agreement. They're two distinct and only tangentially related concepts.

Given the architecture switch to x86, expect working PS4 and X1 emulators much faster this generation.

There's no moral quandary with ripping your own discs or downloading ROMs for a game you already own. The latter may be legally questionable, but there's nothing inherently wrong with it. I'm sure the anti-piracy brigade will be along to tell me otherwise, though. :P

That is what Kotaku has largely become: Copying reddit without giving attributions and pretending that's original content. :(

Although it doesn't have enough depth (imo, at least), Dishonored is unquestionably the most polished immersive sim ever. I'm personally extremely excited to see what Arkane does next with the series, as the game's success was a big validation for IS in general.

It does seem a bit tasteless, but otherwise harmless fun. China is known for it's cultural insensitivity, after all. They don't have to worry too much about backlash from it, so this falls squarely under "no such thing as bad publicity".

Yeah, if there was any doubt that this kid's mother or father is about to lose their job, that line cinched it.

Nintendo does handhelds extremely well (although their online implementation is still terrible). The only thing they need to change is dropping region locks, which no longer make sense in the multinational world we live in today.

My theory is that the reason she wears so little is that she utilizes the feeling of wind against her skin to more accurately gauge wind speed and direction, allowing her greater precision while sniping.
