Obstacles? OBSTACLES?

I like the assumption that I'm a Sony cheerleader just because I'm not willing to forgive MS so quickly. Some of us don't have a horse in that race, and are looking at things from a broader perspective.

No, I'm too old to think this was a good joke. I also don't think they deserve all the softballs they've been getting.

It doesn't look sexy at all. In fact, I'd go so far as to say that it is overwhelmingly bland. Which isn't a bad thing, really. At least it will stack decently with other hardware (assuming proper ventilation).

It's one thing to shut down a non-profit fan project, but it's something else entirely to shut down one that is allowing someone else to make money off your property.

Initially it was horrible. Initially. Subsequent improvements from fans have made it definitive.

No need to ban them entirely, just ban them from playing with normal people who aren't assholes.

Given that Colantonio said just yesterday in an interview with RPS that this is bullshit, I'm inclined to believe him over a random person who could have forged these emails.

They must think we're all idiots to buy that sort of logic. There should seriously be some sort of limit to how flimsy your excuse is.

I haven't used a naga personally, but there are extensive threads about the issues I mentioned. Just google and you'll see complaint after complaint.

I'm expressing my extreme disdain for razer synapse, which is necessary to do said mapping.

The naga is notably less precise than the deathadder, and very few games properly support all the extra buttons, so you instead have to map them using their atrocious configuration software. Meh.

The deathadder also has the lowest input delay of any mouse on the market. Make sure you're using current firmware (which sadly means you have to install their horrible configuration software at least briefly).

He's a lavaman. We will never know his way of life.

When I visited Japan in 98, it was like 104 while we were in Tokyo. I don't think I've ever spent so much money on vending machines in my life — staying hydrated was a desperate battle to survive.

Even on my TV, I find those 65 FOVs to be outrageous. It seems like they're designed for you to be sitting like 25 feet from the TV. Who does that? Nobody, that's who.

The reason that Wander seems harder to control in the HD version is because there's a random chance of stumbling that is based on the framerate. When it was converted, nobody took a look at that bit of code and modified the base value, so you stumble more than twice as often. :)

Classic means something has aged well and is great outside of the context and time period in which it was created.

I understand why some people think killstreaks are fun, but I also think that they could be implemented in a fashion that is a bit more balanced. What if breaking someone else's streak gave you a bonus to your own? A high value target, if you will.

Very well. I'll rewatch all of them, notepad in hand.
