Some coworkers, also nurses, were so sad when House ended. I suggested they check out some of Mr. Laurie's other work and shared a clip of Bertie and Jeeves singing Minnie the Moocher. They did not find it funny, and I judged them for it. I judged them harshly.

I saw them at the Birchmere in Alexandria last week. It was so much fun! I too have loved him since A Bit of Fry and Laurie. But Bertie Wooster is my JAM. I love him.

Am I a terrible person for getting ragey reading Camille Grammer's repeated use of "had happened?" I am. I know I am.

I got married aabout three years ago. We lived together before hand. My mail carrier made a joke when he was delivering some RSVP cards about how mail would soon start coming to Mrs. Programmer instead of Ms. Nurse. I said, "Well, I'm not going to change my name."

Make that baby an ugly hat. Make it now!

Ugh... a FB "friend" who is a police officer and the father of a son posted some dumb video titled "US Air Force Girl gets tazed and grabs the D"

Two girls (twins) that I lived next door to growing up are his nieces. They and their mom (his sister) were at DWTS last night. I have enjoyed seeing it on FB. I've never watched DWTS, much less voted for anyone, but that may have to change for Ol' Uncle Science Guy

I've seen other people mention this book, but this is the version I have. It is still on my shelf now (30 some odd years later). It sits w/ my Chronicles of Narnia. I let my little sister keep the Little House on the Prarie.

I hadn't seen this story. After watching the version from Ellen, I watched the one from his party. This one was better. My take away... Young Sam is a hard worker and willing to work to improve. I think that is one of the most important lessons a young person needs to learn. Good luck!

I love "y'all" and agree it is so useful! Plural you FTW!

I'm a home health nurse. Lots of my patients have this kind of show on when I'm in the homes. I do my wound care, change PICC line dressings and draw labs while the TV is on. Sometimes the TV gives us something to chat about. One day, a particular favorite patient said, "This is so dumb. I need to learn how to do

It's interesting how she keeps herself so shut off/protected from Ru. Her hair is always between them. She is looking out the passenger side window. Her body is turned away. She doesn't seem engaged at all.

The nurse in me is right there with you. PUT YOUR SEAT BELT ON PROPERLY!

You are clearly an intelligent, high quality person.

I cannot play because that is not the name of the game. The game is "Marry, Shag, Push off a Cliff" or "Marry, Fuck, Hit with a Truck."

I just binged watched som RHoNJ as a brain melting exercise before school starts... what is up with them saying "Go scratch" I have never heard that before those numbskulls.

I didn't get it either. That NPR show she does "Ask Me Another" is really god awful. "Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me" it is not.

The tongue-sticking-out is her Justin Beiber/Jaden Smith-are-worried faces.

I read that tweet aloud and Mr. Nurse-O-Rama said, "Is she dating Cancer? I'm only pissed about it if her new boyfriend is Cancer."

I have some "colleagues" that I must eat out with on some occasions. They are cheap, terrible customers. It is MORTIFYING to go out with them... so, so cheap. I end up tipping 50-75% because I am so embarrassed, and I know they have tipped next to nothing.
