I am having a terrible time logging in since the redesign. Tips? Are other people having this problem. I have resorted to making stupid comments just to log in. Sometimes when I leave and come back, I am still logged in and other times I am not.

Money is such a huge piece of this! I don't think radiologist or others in the industry consciously think "We should do more screenings to make more money. Science be damned" but the science of why screenings sometimes don't make sense is sometimes hard (for me at least) to get your brain around.

I am a nurse, but I specialize in diabetes education.... so, not an expert, but I would say family history is the biggest. There is a tool that can be used to calculate your risk... http://www.cancer.gov/bcrisktool/

Sadly, the technology improvements (at least to where they are now) are making things worse! Digital mammos find too many unusual cells. A lot of mutated cells that could develop into clinical tumors never do thanks to our immune system. (Thanks, Immune System!)

I have the recommendations in front of me... fresh from reading this week and discussing in my Evidence Based Practice class in my Masters in Nursing program.

Everything in moderation... I always encourage my patients to add veggies when and where ever possible.

Truth! A potato is not bad for you. Three huge potatoes fried to within an inch of their life and covered in salt is bad for you.

sorry to be annoying, but I can't figure out a way to log in. The log -in button is not at the top of the page.
