Ok, route 8 in Connecticut, ground zero for traveling in the left lane, this woman is doing 50 MPH in a luxury SUV leading about 500 cars that just want to get around her. I finally manage to get in front of her, and I just take my foot off the gas. I don’t brake job, or anything, I just let my car naturally

Parking in that spot overnight is sketchy any time of year if it’s windy. Those waves carry a lot of projectiles with them.

As a Western New Yorker, I recommend: don’t do that. This is down the road from where I grew up. Parking your car facing the Lake in January is not the smartest thing in any context. Normally though, it’s not ice as much as it is feet of lake effect snow.

I didn’t know Land Rover dealerships had beaches.

In Doug's Defense, he has TWICE taken the Rangey on the beach in its natural habitat (Nantucket). So, there's that...

What I learned from this experience is simple: most pickup truck owners don’t care what they need. They care only what they want.

If you see a British car, and it’s not leaking oil, of course it’s been tampered with!

In my oppinion, if you’re going to pay for it, you might as well get the MOST for your money.

Waiting for the Tier -4 Operationally Operational Operators to come in and tell us what was done wrong.

I was doing fine until this post and then I found myself becoming very interested in this thread. Then i was very interested in this thread, then very very very interested in this thread. And suddenly no interest at all and took a nap.

I don’t know what the answer is here, for regulators or for automakers. If gas shoots up to $6 a gallon, that might take care of the problem, but no consumer wants that to happen.

“I see you’re attempting to parallel park, I can assist with that!”

He should have attempted to Dodge the *building*. Not sure how he failed to avoid hitting it; there’s a giant Neon sign on the side. Maybe he thought it would be better to Ram it? I thought that Stealth would be important for a traveler through time and space but this guy isn’t hiding in the Shadows. I guess going on

Swift is always hiring

Or they end up crashed in a lake, like this lambo

You guys completely botched the story behind Salton Sea and Bombay Beach:

when travelling though Nevada on I80 I drove by this shit hole

What makes a short train
