If I understand it correctly, his point isn’t about the disassembly and reassembly of the van. I’m guessing you could do that, not advertise the vehicle as “Built in the USA”, and still avoid the chicken tax.

I have no idea where folks are paying $0.10/kwh. I’m paying about $0.30/kwh here in Hawaii. When I do the math, it’s still cheaper for me to charge my Leaf, but not a lot more.
I’d love to help, but I just realized I have a minivan AND a Leaf...
Shekels.
Felton left, I think last week.. I’ll miss his articles.
It’s really not that much of a hassle, and, to me, a lot more convenient than having to go to a gas station.
We recently purchased a Leaf, and I actually find it more convenient to charge my car overnight rather than going to the gas station. It was a change I wasn’t really ready to make (like you stated), but when I made it, I found it to be more convenient than filling up at the gas station. I don’t have to alter my…
My wife has done it at least twice. Once, she wasn’t even 100 feet from the house... Frequently, I find the tank near empty, with the indicator on. In fact, THIS MORNING, I had to take her car in for repairs, and noticed that it was near empty, and the indicator came on when I was a mile or two away from the shop.…
I know this might be picking nits, but the paywall has nothing to do with copyright law. If this article was on YahooNews (which, to my knowledge, doesn’t have a paywall), your concern regarding copyright would be the same.
“Not finding a link does not prove that a link does not exist.”
I realized this when I had to repair a side view mirror that got smashed. It was $600 to replace, and it’s only motorized. No collision indicator, no camera. Just a motor to adjust the mirror.
OMG. I just did it. Why, oh God, WHY?!?!?!
“The infotainment screen also turns itself off frequently...”
The 2018 Leaf has a flat bottomed steering wheel, too.
I’m siding with Bear on this one. I listen to talk radio, don’t watch TV, and I don’t watch YouTube. I’m rarely at a mall, and if I’m at the mall, I’m busy chasing my 2 year old while listening to my 6 year old whine about not getting something. Those two kids, by the way, are too young to know what pop culture is,…

I think the idea here is that, with faster refill times, they can drop water at a faster rate. By dropping water at a faster rate, the fire doesn’t have as much time to evaporate the water from the previous drop, making more efficient use of the water being dropped, thus requiring fewer drops drops.
My parents did this with me and my sister. If I remember correctly, the upholstery on that car wasn’t the best, and became “brittle” from too much sun exposure. My sister and I used to pick at it, sort of like picking scabs. Fond memories.
As a father of a two year old daughter, with a loving wife, my thoughts are this guy needs to be executed.
