Geez, I just realized our Honda Odyssey gets 18-19 mpg. Where’s all that gas going in the WRX?

“Of course, the mechanics admit that bike manufacturers and local bicycle shops (LBSs) play a role in all this; people buy cheaply-made bikes because they can’t afford the bikes their LBS sells in the first place.”
Gonna have to disagree with you there, buddy. My wife bought a Walmart bike a couple of years ago, and a few months in, we let our 8 year old use it. He dropped the bike accidentally, not crashed it, and snapped the brake lever. We bought a used Aleoca (I think this is an Asian big box store bike), and the same thing…
I see someone is trying to protect their Strava QOMs. Nice try!
Unionization is not going to fix poor customer behavior. It may increase employee wages some, but will it be enough to offset still having to tolerate poor behavior?
My wife and I went to New Zealand about 15 years ago, and rented a manual RV. It was my first time driving RHD, and getting used to shifting with my left hand was quick. Getting used to driving on the wrong side of the road? That was harder.
Big agree, here. I had a Honda Fit, and I didn’t have a problem with a rear-facing child seat. Space wasn’t an issue, and really, noise wasn’t an issue... until we bought a 2018 Leaf. When I drove those two side-by-side, I felt like I was in a tin can in the Fit. And the Leaf isn’t exactly luxurious.
As a cyclist, during the late summer months, when its hot and humid, gnats like to swarm. I will generally ride through several swarms on a ride, inevitably inhaling a few along the way. This here, is nightmare fuel.
Sugar Cube, very nerdy.
Can’t wait for the drop test videos!
Can confirm. I owned one for about 9 years, and got a 2018 Leaf to replace it. The Fit is like driving a tin can compared to the Leaf. Don’t get me wrong, it was a great little car, but it is noisy.
I had to scroll too far for this comment. It looks more like tilt-shift, but whatever. It sucks.
OMG. You know you’re old when you reference this commercial, and no one understands what you’re talking about. To put this into context, I mentioned this commercial to a friend a couple of months ago, and they had no idea what I was talking about.
I’ve never run out of gas before, but my wife? Twice. Once literally around the corner from the house. Weirdly, I can’t remember the second time.
While I appreciate your sentiment, I’ve done this many times, without problem. I either take the FOB, or leave my 9yo in charge of it. It usually means he gives me a hard time getting back in to the car, but, well.
So basically, what you’re saying is that if David did this to all of his project vehicles and collected the hydrogen, he could power a Mirai for a year?
Looking forward to seeing how the wheelset build goes! I bought a used road bike off of craigslist a little over a month ago, and started having spokes pop left and right. I decided to get a new wheelset, but to keep the old one and try to rehab it. I haven’t started, and I’m kinda looking forward to the trials you’ll…
I was wondering if you could clarify how this is better than making a key that doesn’t work? You had used the term “gaslighting” earlier, and I’m not seeing how this is different. With the keys, you’re telling your loved one, “hey, the car doesn’t work”. In the latter, you’re telling them, “hey, thanks for letting me…
Hey, you keep Hawaii out of this. We did nothing to you. ;p
You know what’s classic about most of the responses below? They don’t answer your question, and instead, mock you. What does tolerance look like? The Jalopnik comment section, that’s what.
