People say "I'd be fine with it if it isn't blared out and screamed in the game!" but when they try to be subtle about it, it just opens it up to denial. One of the Lords (main characters, sort of) in a Fire Emblem game has endless supports where he and another dude swear to be together forever always etc and his

I sort of hate it too, mostly because I still kinda associate Pharrell with Blurred Lines.

And then people would just write giant posts about how contrived it is and how she's soooo fake for wearing them because look she use to wear heels!

There were these floating around for a while, with the claim they were concept art/story boarding of some sort for an early form of the movie.

It pretty much always is when they stretch-glitch

That one was so gross, with half the comments being "I'm <non-white identity> so it's not racist when I say ASIAN STEREOTYPES ARE TRUE LOL". I just don't get how people can be like that, "all stereotypes about groups I belong to are false, but all stereotypes about OTHERS are true".

A lot of the people who would lose their shit over it are the same ones who won't buy Nintendo consoles because "OMG ITZ 4 KIDS". There's lots of girl Link fanfic and fanart, it's pretty much a staple in the fandom side of things. Kinda niche but it's there.

It's like this for a lot of written work, I think. For example, the term Mary Sue gets tossed around so readily, but the male equivalents aren't so much. And that's even ignoring mechanics and all that other fun stuff in games.

Oh I know. I can still wish, the same way I wished for them to bring over more Fire Emblem (and they skipped one but we got the next).

This might be my inner fangirl being muleish (or horrific flashbacks to the CD-i games), but I don't get the obsession with having a Zelda game starring Zelda. I'd honestly really rather that Nintendo use Metroid more (and make up for Other M). Samus is her own game's star, and I like that better than "spinoffs" or

Actually I sort of liked that about it. For once we had a queen in a Disney movie that wasn't evil! The clothes change was her going from something like her father wore (who basically told her to never have emotions) to whatever she wanted. The entire story is framed about the friendship and family bond between two

Like I said, they changed it entirely. It really has absolutely nothing to do with the original story.

Not so sure about Japan, but it's not out there yet (late March iirc). They had a different princess movie out around the same time, though honestly calling it a princess movie is a bit of a disservice.

Yeah I was hoping they'd be at least slightly faithful to it, but since they opted not to I don't mind the title change. Though, in other countries (France, Japan) it's called The Snow Queen (in respective languages).

Honestly I'm glad they didn't, the plot is changed so radically that it has little to do with the original story.

Oh whenever this site comes up I just... A singer I like is on there for "being homophobic" because he was confused about how when he arrived to his label for the first time (at the age of 15), another act on the label (group of a bunch of dudes 20+ years old) kept grabbing/slapping his ass. So he thought they were

I still find it weird that the Duck idiot's fans have all decided there is one masthead for the Opposition and thus Public Enemy No.1 and it's... Mackelmore. Because "he can say his opinions on the gays but Glorious Duck Man cannot!" It's just so damn strange.

As an... Interesting turn of events, his fans have decided to go after Macklemore, because no one "crucified" him for speaking "his opinion on gays". It's very... Odd.

They aren't, really. It's the way that it's being reported on. The detail from PA (in the photo) just describes the area as an extension of the safe environment they're trying to build at the con, and is more a resource center than a safe space.

But PAX already does have a anti-harassment (which all that falls under) policy, and will eject people for failing to comply with it. I remember reading that in PAXEast they kicked out some guys for harassing a group of cosplayers, and various other similar tales across various forms of the event.
