This was going around my school like crazy a year ago (Southern California). I got my vaccine updated because something like a third of the students ended up getting it (or so the notices on the boards telling us to GET THE VACCINE NOW said). Scary stuff.

I want to thank all the people who gave me advice in my thread last night where I whined about my skin issues. Thanks meltybananas, JokerSmokerMidnightToker, Buffy, south2nd, Seize, NYGal81, and trouble-bubble!! All your advice really helped me sort out what I needed to do ♥

They kept saying I had dry skin too... I don't know, my skin is usually super oily. And they were chastising me for sun damage on my forehead (I always wear sunblock and hats outside...).

My friend took me to Macy's to the Shiseido counter to try some products since she's trying to get me into it. The employee who was at the counter asked about my skin type, etc. I told her my skin was super sensitive and damaged easily... She said "everyone who doesn't wear makeup claims that," and then used some line

A similar app that is also free is KakaoTalk. It's what the majority of my friends use, at least. I think some had issues with compatibility for WhatsApp.

But if you go to a country that speaks, say, Japanese you'll find that their languages lack a V sound and you become Bikkutaa or something along those lines. Korean (and I believe Mandarin Chinese) also lack a "V" sound.

Regular public high school. Most of our grades were based off homework, iirc. You could fail most of the tests and still pass a course based on homework alone.

I was in HS 4 years ago and school started when it was dark-ish out (7am).

Thanks a ton for your suggestions!! I'll start looking into all this tomorrow (or well, in the morning). It's a relief to know that a single bad semester isn't going to haunt me for the rest of my academic career. So much weight off my mind about it.

If it was at a community college and I am currently in the process of transferring to a 4 year, do you know which I would appeal to? The community college, I'm guessing?

They're not incompletes just... Fs, bad grades. I have low grades scattered around but one semester was especially bad. My grandma moved in and I had to skip a lot of classes to be able to get her set up with her doctor, then he wanted to completely change her meds and she tried to run away, and things got crazy. In

I wanted to study abroad but my GPA is apparently too low (by like .2 points). That second semester of bad grades has been killing me for YEARS. I wish there was a way to just wipe it from the records, you know?

She is, really? Wow. Just wow.

Well there was that one person who use to plagiarize out of print children's fantasy novels for her Harry Potter fanfics that got a book deal and I think continues to do so.

Yup that's exactly what it it's like. Alright, time to hunt spiders with the vacuum (you'd think I'd see them before they bit me...).

That's a relief. I didn't want to have to deal with bed bugs.

The center bit turns dark red and hard by the time I notice it, and there are no clear holes (two small darker bits but I'm not sure). I've had mosquito bites (use to live in south Florida and got eaten alive regularly) and never reacted like this. But it's been ages since I've been bitten so maybe something's changed

On my left arm near the elbow (if it's not obvious). I live in Southern California, if that helps with figuring it out.

Jezzies, could someone help me identify some sort of bug bite I have?

So I didn't get into my first, second, or third choice school for transfer. Got into my fourth and I just realized that I'm going to still be living at home because it's in commuting range and I don't think I can handle living with my mom. But I'm going to have to because I need to take care of my grandma. While "my
