So wait, you pester your roommate about her sex life because you don't think it's exciting enough? What?

Google chunks of sentences in quotes and see what comes up? That's how I always check to see if a story was plagiarized from a fanfic online.

Supposedly! I don't think they've announced the stops yet (nor has SJ), but both said "The US" when talking about stops they'll have, so~ CNBlue and FTIsland are also stopping in the US, and so is B2ST I believe.

I love SJ (though I'm more obsessed with SJM, their Mandarin subgroup). I have no regrets about subjecting them to rants about the members.

I only follow famous people (mostly musicians), and I like it because they post videos/photos from the recording studio and things like that. And cat photos.

I think it's her usage of "geisha" that is the problem.

Can they take them at the same level (ie your course isn't a pre-req)? If so, maybe the guides or whoever recommends or helps them to pick classes should recommend against the class or explain exactly what it entails? Beyond that, I don't know. I do think it's something you get in a lot of intro or freshman/sophomore

My friend (from Japan, so not exactly the same) had a hard time with an intro to art history class because it focused on western art from an assumed western perspective on art. She said it'd be like dumping a white kid from Utah into a class on ukiyo-e without any cultural background or perspective on Japanese art.

You apply for a specific degree, but they can and do offer admission on other degrees if they feel you qualify more for those.

I find it weird when universities offer admission for majors you didn't apply for... Applied for computer science major, got accepted with a choice of French language, French literature, or English Literature. It's just so strange. Almost seems like a mistake.

Can we skip this and just get the "call waiter" buttons that a lot of restaurants in Asia have?

Tiger JK, a Korean-American artist active in Korea, discussed this and is trying to reach out to Korean media and Koreans to explain why this is problematic.

There was followup to this. It turns out she was in the middle of a paranoid-schizophrenic breakdown of some form. She was checked into a mental hospital or ward shortly after this.

The networks/celebs always they didn't know it was wrong, and that people are only offended because foreigners don't understand Korean culture. A couple of big names in the industry (such as Tasha and Tiger JK) have spoken out about this, numerous times, but it seems to always fall on deaf ears. Part if it is that

I've tried a number of breakfasts personally (meats, eggs, cereals, fruits, cheeses) and I always end up feeling sick if I eat too soon (within like 3 hours) after waking up. But I don't feel hungry until lunch, so I guess it works out?

I offer up Calvin Chen, Show Luo, Zhou Mi, and Wang Lee Hom~

I'm in the Temecula valley area, does that count as a valley girl? I notice lots of "likes" getting tossed around, and the uptick thing is definitely common here, as well as the vocal fry thing. My accent is a bit skewed though, I think, having lived half my life in Southern Florida.

But these people (students by the looks of things) are clearly trying to DESTROY THE WORLD and the health of everyone around them with their EVIL DIRTY FLOOR. And their poor dog is FAT and eating BREAD *pearlclutch*

I think part of it is that it's just what you get use to seeing? If you wear makeup all the time, you start recognizing that as "how you look" and your own face seems weird without it. Sort of how if you wear glasses all the time, people seeing you without them suddenly are like "wow this looks weird".

They should perform/promote anything that isn't Touch, in my (unpopular) opinion. I just can't get into that song, or the choreography.
