Muskie inherited his money (like orange fat turd) so he’s never had to be smart. I used to look up to him because of the things he “did” like Tesla, but now that I know about him, fuck that guy.

Elon Musk may be the richest man in the world, but it’s seeming more and more like the guy is going after REAL power. Turns out, Real power does not come from money, it comes from influence. If you can control and harness the political weight of a LOT of people, you can get away with anything. Problem is, only stupid

Everyone is guessing Shuri takes up the mantle after T’Challa dies (and he’s almost certainly dead—the Queen’s speech, Shuri crying, what looks like traditional funeral ceremonies), but I'm thinking it's Nakia.

I don’t think that’s Wakanda. The pyramid in the background of the opening scene looks Aztec rather than African design. With Namor played by a Mexican actor and looking to have a pre-Columbian aesthetic himself, I’m guessing MCU Atlantis is/was off the coast of the Yucatan peninsula, and that’s what we’re seeing here.

Digging the tone. I’m sold.

You are a testament to human stupidity.

It’s honestly pretty amazing we can be this far into a pandemic (let along whatever general education people get along the way through their life) and people like you still don’t have the first clue what vaccinations actually do and somehow think they create some kindof magical force field or something.

I can only

There’s no logical argument against complete legalization. Bill Hicks broke down the differences between marijuana and alcohol over thirty years ago.

For the same reason Trump is not in prison before he ran for president despite his decades of fraud and bankruptcies .

Can someone ELI5 why Alex Jones still has a radio show and is not in prison? He’s been sued I can’t remember how many times, he’s lost countless court cases, has had multiple default judgments against him for not showing up to court, and is regularly being fined tens of thousands of dollars per day for his actual

He does when it’s himself. Remember this is the guy who is so thin-skinned he slandered an actual hero when they decided to not go with his plan for rescuing people.

Do you think he cares if people are threatened, harassed, etc.?

“Say some pretty outrageous things”, huh? Really Elon? If this goes through I might sign up again just to call you every nasty thing in the book and see how long that lasts.

Also love to Moses Ingram’s performance as her over the top character, and think anyone who is personally attacking her with racial slurs and epithets are horrible, horrible people.

What makes the franchise interesting is that it *isn’t* about a world that’s “basically ended”, but it looks like this show wants to do away with the main thing that differentiates it from 90% of zombie stuff because the creators can’t imagine a show that doesn’t hew to formula.

I guess being in that “Weapon of Choice" music video helped him walk without rhythm.

I’d like to waste $313 million across 7 films and pull in $1.2 billion.  Sounds like a great way to waste money.

Well known franchise in a genre that generally makes good money on lower budgets seem like a pretty safe bet, all things considered.

I wish that a along with pointing out people like Tucker Carlson and the terrible things they say and do, that The Root would publish pieces that present effective ways to COUNTER such people.

Basic white dude who exemplifies mediocrity at best and the white man’s version of stepin fetchit at worst has something to say about a hard working, qualified minority? This isn’t news it’s just another day.
