I was actually really looking forward to a second season of The Peripheral. If they also cancel Upload I’m rioting.

I feel that this *unrenewing* trend is total bullshit. If a network/streaamer says something *is* renewed, it should STAY RENEWED. This crap not only hurts the fans, it causes chaos for *everyone* on the actual production part of making a show, literally 100s and 1000s of talented and creative people.

It was original, well-made, well acted, and I was really looking forward to a second season. As new content remains on hold, I hope a lot more people will find it and add to the demand to reverse this decision.

Hopefully someone else picks it up, but I’m not sure of that would be better or not.

Noooo!! That was one of the best adaptations of any William Gibson work... Hopefully they can shop it around and find a new studio.

As I understand it, the unions don’t support consumer action (yet) because it could lead to more cancellations of in-progress shows.

This was a great adaptation. The studios will return to find the audience found something else to do besides streaming and TV. They’re cutting their own throats.
