I have to admit, Tom Holland is pretty much perfect casting for this role. He has the whole “casual conversation while fighting” thing down perfect already. He looks enough like the game character to fit well. Honestly, I can’t think of anyone who would fit better. Now here’s hoping they don’t F up the script.

The existing continuity is that Bill has a kid referred to as Little Ted and Ted has a kid referred to as Little Bill. Period. The daughters are named Billie and Thea. Which are still Bill and Ted.

I just rewatched the final scene of Bogus Journey and they don’t actually call the kids their “sons” It is just “Little Bill” and “Little Ted”, both of which could be shortened versions of girl’s names. So it won’t actually need a retcon, just more and new information.

Counterpoint: the original is a masterpiece that totally holds up.
