Thank you, this is exactly what I was thinking to all the complainers of the S3 Discovery trailer.  OBVIOUSLY it’s going this route, towards a more dystopian setting, but from what Jonathan Frakes said (about S3 being more optimistic) it sounds like they’ll be rebuilding the Federation, and that could be AWESOME.

How the hell are they gonna make THIS right? I had an annual subscription for two different boxes.  The contents definitely have gotten lackluster and I was planning on cancelling, but it’s already been paid for back in the beginning of April.  So I’m supposed to keep getting boxes through next April 2020.  This

This is one reason I’m really excited that Disney has gotten the rights back.  It’s going to be a while before we see anything - they’ve already said, as the deal was only just concluded they are not incorporating any of these characters within the next 5 year plan, but most likely after that, but I am DEFINITELY

I can’t WAIT to see this, but that’s a really dangerous weekend to pick for a major movie release.  John Wick 4 was just announced earlier this week for the exact same day, and it cleaned house recently with John Wick 3's release.  I hope they consider moving it slightly, I’d really like to see Akira do well with less

Did you even read the article? The point being made is that a lot of people, mostly men, who DID NOT even bother to see the movie were posting negative reviews with the intention of trying to harm it.

I enjoyed the ending.  Was it perfect? No - but it was ironically the best written episode of Season 8, granted that’s a low bar, but it worked.  More importantly, it was an infinitely better ending than Lost, Battlestar Galactica, or Dexter.

I’m very curious to see where this all ends. There is ONE way I can think of that could lead to an interesting ending with many problems fixed. It would require Drogon to be gone - whether killed, chained in the dragon pit, flown off by Jon, whatever - but if Drogon is out of the picture...

FYI, I think it’s more complicated than that. Palpatine clearly did not survive. And the writers know that. But here’s something many people on this thread don’t know or don’t recall.

I don’t think it is.  That was Palpatine’s laugh, and he is responsible for their being a Skywalker in the first place, starting with Anakin.  And this is the last of the Skywalker saga, something they have mentioned before, but Rey and such are likely to go on for future movies and are contracted for them.  Just my 2

WandaVision sounds kind of reminicent of the House of M storyline - but, to do that right you’d need the X-Men and this has already been in development for some time. Hrm.

An interesting point to make here - while we’re mostly focusing on this movie, which is the first half of book 1, they have the rights to *EVERYTHING* related to Dune. If the franchise keeps moving and doing well, they could turn out movies for a long time, and THIS HERE - Duncan Idaho - is arguably the single most

EXACTLY this!

No not at all.  I played the first two Dragon Warrior games for NES, possibly the third I forget, and NONE of the rest up until this one.  It’s a great game and it doesn’t require any real knowledge of the other games.  In fact I’d say it has more in common with Chrono Trigger than the prior Dragon Warrior games,

I’m extremely sad right now that I can only star a post one time instead of a million or so.

House of M, please!!!!

And a new generation of Sailor Moon fans can (eventually) be horribly traumatized as well :D The first half of Stars is very straightforward just as they say.  Once it gets into the Galaxia arc however, well, the body count starts going up.  I think for my spouse it was like back when I saw the 1987 Transformers the

I also kind of wonder if they cancelled Luke Cage specifically to move him more into the Jessica Jones seasons going forward.  I mean he was a hell of a lot of fun on his own, but canonically, Luke Cage and Jessica Jones are a helluva lot more than a one night stand - in Marvel comics from just a few years ago they

Sad fact is, the best solution to the opioid epidemic is legalizing Marijuana within the entire US, releasing anyone serving time for it, etc. Tax the hell out of it to help reduce debt, and come up with far stronger laws preventing pharmaceutical companies from making such massive profits off death from opioids. Not

Seriously, who the hell needs cable anymore? The news is nothing but awful crap, Netflix has GREAT original shows, Amazon is getting better and better with shows like this, the Lord of the Rings show, Jack Ryan, etc, and Hulu has Brooklyn 99.  This is awesome!

SOUNDWAVE AND SHOCKWAVE ACTUALLY LOOK CORRECT! FINALLY!
