FEAR 3 was fun. I still prefer the crazier action that the first game offered versus the "You should be taking more cover" that the third game pushed. I think I got better at relying less on cover as my left hand got accustomed to all the button presses. Maybe that was my problem? Maybe...maybe not. There is still a

In games that focus on the "Good vs Bad" style and let you choose, I typically do both versions. Usually it's more fun to be bad but I've had situations on the "bad" side that made me feel like the scum of the Earth.

Seems that I'm finally on a roll with beating/finishing games on my "To Do" list.

You know, I forgot all about that filter. I'll have to check that out. Thanks for the reminder.

Gears of War 3 has many moments that make me feel uneasy. Specifically, fire based weapons and some of the close executions. The fire weapons (incendiary grenades and scorcher) make the target scream in agony...even beyond death. Locust or human, if its hit by fire weapons its followed by some pretty painful and

Hahahah, that's so awesome.

Hahaha. I may or may not be guilty of one of those things. I won't be able to download a copy today (sort of broke-ish) but it won't be long until I secure myself a copy. Thanks! :D

Very nice. Again, I think your explanation compliments the others. Everyone seems to be filling in holes to make the bigger picture easier to see. Thanks! Civ sounds like a game I could easily appreciate. I'll check it out soon enough. :)

Oh, nice. I think your explanation compliments what MarcusMaximus just told me quite well. Appreciate it! Definitely going to try it out soon. :)

Nice! Thanks. That's probably been the easiest/best description I've seen of a Civ game. Thanks!! Sounds cool. I'll probably give it a try. :D

:/ Boo. I've never played RUSE either. I've heard of it though. I'll look into that though...use it as a reference. Thanks!

I've never played a Civ game before. It looks really fun and unique...if not a bit time consuming. However, I'm having a tough time pin pointing where you have "fun"...if that makes any sense at all? Could someone explain to me how Civ plays and what they enjoy about it? For what its worth, I do love me some RTS games

"but fear 3 just didn't even feel like the same franchise except for the bullet time and Alma."

You think so? I didn't find BC2 to be all that bad. I actually enjoyed it and spent a lot of time in the multiplayer (as well as the campaign) but I did feel that the second one lost a lot of humor that was there in the first. The first game had a lot of tongue in cheek humor with a few..."dark" moments but it was

Wow. I thought MY backlog was bad. Geez! Hah, it looks like you'll be set for months to come. I have a couple of games that I have sitting on my backlog but most are things that I can handle if I sit down and handle them in a day. The only exceptions to that would be Fallout New Vegas (and it's DLC) as well as FFXIII.

So I bought F.E.A.R 3 off of Steam for a whopping $8 and started playing it. I'm...enjoying it. I'm not used to the keyboard and mouse combination but I'm getting there. My left hand is used to the WASD format but it isn't used to the WASDFGRQF5CtrlShift format...which is essentially basic movement and all the basics

"Screw that! Peach, clear your calendar! We are locking ourselves in the royal bedchambers and doing it like nasty pigs until I am fully satisfied! And THEN you can bake me a cake!"

Hahahah, that was hilarious. Oh man.

It's a shame what Ninja Gaiden 3 turned out to be. I tried playing the demo and I probably got close to the end before I decided it was "unplayable". Only because it's just a shell of what NG2 was.
