    Seniors also have a steady stream of Fox News injected directly into their goddamned veins. When Fox and the AARP disagree, they will trust the former. So I’m sure soon we’ll have angry seniors blaming Obama for this.

    The AARP is going to come out swinging against the GOP for this one. They’ve already said as much. When seniors lose access to healthcare and their premiums go up, the AARP will make sure the seniors know who to blame.

    Mine has been that McCain would realize that the rest of the country deserves the same opportunity for care that he’s receiving, and that he would come and hold out with a plea to his party to work together with the other party to find a solution and guilt them into it.

    When things disproportionately affect people of color I either have to accept that racism is playing a role OR I have to say that people of color are somehow different in this particular area than white people.     Oh it definitely is about race once you look closer. Just like most racism you have to look past the surface to see its tendrils snaking its way around. What I described is just the mechanics of a removal but none of what leads up to the primary situation and what goes on under the surface.

    If auto companies can put all this electronic bullshit in new cars why don’t they put in an automatic recording system. A front/back two shot and a drivers door view camera. Make them required like seat belts. Systems now are cheap.

    How long do they take to attach? I was lazy after a hike last weekend and didn’t shower until evening. Sure enough I see a piece of “dirt” on my leg, pull it off, and see a freaking tick wriggling around on my finger and clearly trying to kill me instantly right there.
