I never liked the feed of foundation on my skin. I always felt like I was wearing a ton of make-up, so I switched to base of tinted moisturizer (Aveeno) and dust a thin layer of mineral powder to even things out.

That was totally my first thought to. Commuting bothered me less when I was driving in the suburbs, but now that I take the bus (30-45 minutes a trip) I'm super stressed the entire time. I constantly think that someone around me is going to do something awful or the bus will break down or something.

Totally went to my high school. She was gorgeous (and talented) then too. Too bad she totally sucked up the Final, cause I was totally working on a script for "The Hope Solo Story" for Lifetime...

Ditto. You'd think Disney would have thought twice... But no. And no Gordo!!

He could be Darren Criss's little brother or something!! It would be adorable!!

Thanks for the should out to Chobani! I've recently started using their yogurt for basically everything (marinade, etc) and am loving it. And their commercials are very "active lifestyle" and "we're super awesome" and nothing about women dieting or aligning their digestive track. :)

I actually think that Clinton would be a decent fit at the World Bank. It's not really a finance organization, but provides funding to works to alleviate poverty. With all of her recent efforts (generally supporting girls through international development programs via USAID), I think she'd actually be a great policy

Somehow I doubt that Merkel would have done this without knowing that it would be a laugh for Hillary... Although I pretty much imagine that all women world leaders are basically besties...

Based on my very limited knowledge of Egypt I would put this in the "crazy shit happens during a conflict" category. Prisoners in conflict are often mistreated beyond what would normally happen in a traditional prison setting.

Eee! Redhead!

I'm 90% sure that they cut that woman off when she started talking about filters searching code for pornographic tip-offs because she didn't know what she was talking about...

This continues to promote my "I want Jason Segel to be my friend" campaign...

The MAMA project is just going to be piloted in South Africa, India, and Bangladesh, but J&J's Baby Center conducts similar messaging programs in the U.S.

Stop the hate. This is an amazing initiative, bringing basic family planning messages to women who often don't even have access to trained birth attendants when their in labor.

SO IMPORTANT. I'm very lucky that my mom talked to me about menstruation very early. I started when I was 8 and (even with good and practical information) I was absolutely horrified about what was happening to me.

I get that this was a bit tongue in cheek, but there is actually a really important lesson on actually sending products (be it pads/tampons or blankets or food).

This is really old news within the development community. There are a lot of organizations on the sanitary-pad mission right now, and though it needs to be ramped up, I'd really encourage people to do their research before giving to any money individual organization.

I think that's really untrue. I'm a regular on Groupon/LivingSocial deals, and I rarely find that there are super sketchy places listed. This could be a regional issue, but in DC they are always doing deals for places I would go anyway, for both the restaurant and salon deals.

.... That's fake right? I feel so conflicted right now - part of me refuses to believe it's true, and the other part just wants to get on that list!!
