It’s very interesting that some shows had very effective endings and last scenes without really mirroring that last shot. Some were very intentional, like LOST, some seem more accidental, like FRIENDS, which opened with a standard sitcom establishing shot, but ended with a nice little mirror, possibly accidentally.
