Absolutely. The prosecution botched that trial. The problem in places like the US isn't that rich people end up with a great defense, it's that poor people get shitty defense.

The strong defense is key to having as unimpeachable verdicts as humanly possible. Without people like her, any trial is a sham, aka the kind of trials that go on in countries that end up in Human rights trials.
