“Why are these taxpayers letting the police get away with being so bad at their jobs?”
Hell Voyager never came close to exploring it’s 10 word pitch. I’m watching season 3 of BSG and that at times feels like what Voyager wanted to be for a hot second before turning into TNG.
Man, that’s the best typo I’ve ever seen.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a character more like me than Cameron. Not claiming to be a genius or anything, just someone who cares too much, and the world inevitably lets us down. I think it’s safe to say there really is no other character like her on television.
I have to give AMC major props for sticking by HACF for 4 seasons. The network likely made no money off it. I don’t care that the show was dumped on Saturdays, or that the first two / last two eps were aired back to back. I’m just grateful I got to spend more time with the characters. 4 seasons was the perfect amount…
I had written something long and heartfelt, and then was logged out...and now it’s gone. So, in short -
This show is political because it suggests a way to survive Trump’s presidency: lure him into an underground bunker and detonate a nuke.
I’m incredibly dubious that Daniel came on Issa’s face on purpose as part of some master plan for revenge. The apology looked like a way to just try to get past it and smooth things over, and the “I guess we’re even” seemed like a poorly timed joke intended to keep things light. Since Issa had never given him head…
I really hope that the Dro storyline doesn’t resolve as “the open relationship is a lie and he’s been cheating the whole time.” To me that’s a very Shonda Rhimes twist, giving Molly a solid out (“I don’t want to enable cheating”) without giving her the chance to grow and confront her real issue— that her childhood…
Wow, is this like the “no condoms” argument on this show? Do we need one of the Wayans brothers to run in and yell “He’s not holding her down!”???? I did not see what you saw. I re-watched that scene at least 5 times, and Daniel did not appear to be holding her down. It was more like he was holding/caressing her head…
still, the idea of a dude with another dude seems weird to me.
Ronald Reagan implemented conjugal visits for prisoners in CA.
I'm spoiled for choice here. I mean, I could point out the sheer, incoherent stupidity of telling a bunch of strangers that you totally know more about their emotions than they do, and they only think they're happy in an open relationship...
