“One thing I actually liked was that the companions saved themselves.”

Wow. I disagree with everything you wrote. Every single thing.

What does Villasenor do on the show that is considered good? Honestly, I’ve not seen her do anything yet that I didn’t think she was ill-suited for. As much as I want her to do well, I just haven’t seen it yet.

There was a sketch that was “cut for time” that was much better...called “You Go,” I believe.

Why?

OK, I’ll step up—I disagree with you. I routinely skip past the musical acts on SNL (even when it’s a singer I like) because it’s usually just completely uninteresting. There’s nothing to watch, mostly, and I can hear them sing on the radio or mp3 or whatever.

You are a major reason why Trump will probably be re-elected. You and your gullibility. You think you are being such a responsible and good citizen. No. You are not. You are helping Donald Trump, not your country.

Fine. Select the candidate of your choice. But it’s not necessary to try and destroy the reputation of the other candidates in the process, or organizing demonstrations(!) against other candidates because they don’t support every single issue you think is important (which happened in San Franscisco recently), or to

It’s not 2016 and Hillary’s not running...can you people finally let it go?

Justin Bieber looked like a bargain-basement Aaron Carter with an even weaker wanna-be porn-stache. And if I’m not mistaken, it looks like he is rapidly losing his hair, which will be devastating to his career as it has always been featured heavily in his PR since he started out (and why not—it’s clearly always been

No one asked, but I’m going to say this anyway...you and most of the other people who have commented in this thread are the reason Donald Trump will probably win another term. You are all so happy to destroy—not criticize, but tear down completely—the reputations of the Democratic candidates because of your obsessive

Thanks for all the suggestions...I hesitated to announce my newbie status, but this definitely seems to be a much friendlier and inviting community than I found when I mentioned I was having trouble making sense of Twin Peaks. Those guys were vicious--and apparently don’t want any new members in their club. I

That makes me feel a little less sheepish about my theory...thanks.

Being completely new to the Doctor Who universe and knowing nothing about most of the alien threats that have been around for years, my first thought was that Ruth was going to somehow be the “lone cyberman” in a disguised and upgraded form.

I don’t understand the choice made to have the character speak with that wierd, not-quite-American accent, when the actual historical person and the actor playing him were both essentially from the same region of the world (which is definitely not the British version of America).

I was sort of hoping for a reunion with ghost-Ragnar before Lagertha slipped away...

Once again, I’m surprised there was no mention of Luke’s flirtation with bisexuality...this is the second episode I’ve seen this season in which Luke finds himself in a questionably romantic scenario with a dude, and he has absolutely no qualms about it. I’m all for it, and find it refreshing that it is presented in

That’s because I was.

Nah, didn’t necessarily want social commentary. Just something that hadn’t been done to death already.m Like I said, the Gumby segment was funny and fresh because he wasn’t just performing and old script with new songs dropped in. Did he do anything in that sketch that you haven’t already seen him do (better) in the

That’s just it—there’s nothing new for him to say. So why revisit him at all, when there are so many other characters that could have said something relevant to this era? If you just want to hear the same old Buckwheat bits, you can always watch the original sketches.
