Yeah I'll agree with you there. When typing my comment up I completely forgot about how maps play out on Horde and Beast mode and Sandbar is definitely a great map for Horde. Also, I am surprised myself that I forgot to mention the retro lancer haha. It's one of my most used weapons. It's a very good counter if you

Ya true, I overlooked its use for Horde. It really is great for horde. But for stuff like team deathmatch, execution, or warzone, it tends to be one sided for the ones who control the central area.

Gears of War in general is one of, if not, my favourite competitive multiplayer games and Gears 3 is easily the best of the Gears games yet. I'll break down my thoughts on it into pros and cons, cons first:

Exactly the point of his title. After a good week of Nintendo downloads, we're back to the good ol' shitstack of underwhelming title.

I completely agree with this. Do what Paradox me suggested and have the open world and everything. Maybe have a Dragon Quest VIII style open world. Sure the development cycle would be long for it, but it could be absolutely magnificent! And clearly "fans" have shown that they'll buy Final Fantasy no matter what

I hope that comes here, it's the best looking 3DS colour so far.

I can just imagine that there will be a massive surge in sales for the PS3 this month

It's a shame Apple can advertise it as the most popular "game player". I got mine 2 years ago and have barely touched games on it (no pun intended). Every time I try a new one I'm bored within minutes.

I'm not sick of Gears of War either, so I'm good with that.

I'm glad they have Bernie added! She's great in the books! Also, Blood Drive is looking great and I'm loving the look of Rustlung and Azura.

It most definitely is! Can't wait!

Well if it's any consolation I thought it was funnier than all the nominations if only because it was so purposefully cheesey. You make delightfully punny comics. I particularly like the drawing for the "met a knight" one haha

Yeah, I'm not liking them either. I was going to vote for Life in Aggro based on the one Owen posted last week, but the one posted today is embarrassingly dreadful. But if I had to pick one it would be Full Frontal Nerdity.

Maybe it's a connection thing, but the sawed-off is killing people from a further distance than the gnasher requires. I also, don't just "walk around corners blindly", my problem isn't being bested by someone with a sawed-off, its just the ease of use it has compared to the gnasher. Getting a kill with the sawed-off

I used it a bit during the beta and just found it a little too cheap. Then I heard Epic Games wasn't going to tweak it and I just decided to stay away from it during the full game. So I do it out of principle, but I know one day I'll realize I might be fairly close to getting all the onyx medals and I'll just start

It really isn't the toughest, just takes a lot of time. Getting to rank 100 won't take that long if you're a dedicated Gears fan and getting all the onyx medals will just take a lot of grinding, but very little strain in terms of challenge. Also, people will no doubt find easy ways to boost this. The only way I see

A blimp!? Son of a bitch, Crecente, I didn't want to know that!

Wait what!? Why would this get plastered as the headline!? I'm not getting the game, but if it was a game I did care about, I would go ballistic! I can't stand spoilers and this one is huge!

Ugh, every time I see anything related to Advance Wars I just get angry there's no word on a new one. I love all 4 of them and really want a new one on the 3DS. I love Zelda and all, but there's no Nintendo franchise I love quite as much as Advance Wars.

I agree with this comment!
