Never, because GDC isn’t going to want to refund money. One could argue that this will hurt GDC in the future, but this might be the end of GDC as we know it anyway. A lot of game companies are realizing they can have events on the internet and/or their own private events and it’s just as effective, if not more so.

They still make Sonic games and Sonic TV shows; he’s obviously not as big as he was in the early 90's but I would think most kids know who Sonic is.

They certainly can, but Link’s Awakening was more of a love letter remake than anything.  Just saying I’d be surprised if they bothered as Nintendo has no emotional ties to those games.

Fallout and Skyrim have NPCs that feel like they’re part of the world, they go about their day-to-day life and can even be killed off.

I was referring to how it feels like a MMO, where NPCs are standing around giving you fetch quests in big open areas.

This is awesome, hopefully Nintendo sees this and makes an official one (or works with Microsoft) for others.

The game is a DBZ MMO, but you’re the only one logged in.  That is both good and bad.
