And now we see what happens when the skinner box pays off with every button press...

Every time I read about mobile making so much more money than console or PC games and the struggle of companies that don’t do mobile, I wonder how much pricing of regular games had to do with it. Console and PC games cost the same price as they used to, of not even less. In the meantime the development cost for AAA

3.7 million dollars... a day? You sure that isn’t a money-laundering scheme?

I don’t see the problem with these pubs/devs doing the whole mobile thing, hey it makes money but I mean wouldn’t it be in their interest to keep their big games going? I mean having these big names around for years and how popular they are even if they’re making less money draws attention to your company.

Konami should pay attention to the mobile developers they so want to emulate. King lost 14% of its value yesterday, despite, (or maybe because) of the Windows 10 bundling announcement. Like Rovio and Zynga before them, they are proving that franchises don’t matter in the mobile market. If you spend your time trying to

Wow its like someone started drawing that image and couldn’t stop.

So what if there are more Apple watches than PS4’s (which I doubt in itself). Have fun playing games on a fucking watch.

I agree. Could be a flavoursome attempt to entice gamers to throw their cash at the developer, only for him to cut some highly anticipated features during late development. But hell, the game will sell like crazy, so the developer can easily offer an earnest apology and promise that all the features will be in the

I also used to think that COD was worse than LOL, but after playing LoL for a few days I just don’t know anymore.

The most boring thing physical sports is when ESPN devotes hours to personal feuds in the locker room in hushed tones, with quotes from players sniping at each other and then putting up a PR hug to each other as a “reconciliation.”

Yep: still boring as hell when it’s esports.

I just sent this in but I am a grey and it probably won’t get read. In negotiations for a three-some with my current male lover we had a plan whereby I was having a promising third man (who is bi) over. I was to warm him up to the idea and then invite lover #1 over. I wrote: “He is adorable. I can’t wait to have you

That’s really neat that they’re almost done but using early access to make sure the puzzles don’t have too few solutions. I loooooove the idea of multiple solutions because then I’d play them again to challenge myself to think in a new way for it.

Not necessarily, or at all, heck Azir, Gnar, and Lucian all came out underpowered before becoming powerhouses after some buffs a few patches later. The reason why they come off as overpowered is because no matter how many people one hires to test a product, and how capable they are, the PBE alone has a higher testing

I accidentally erased 10 hours of my cousin’s FFX game, so I replayed it up to exactly where he was, that night, without using any spheres.

Being an active member in MMORPG raiding. Even my casual guild required upwards of 15-20 hours in game a week. Not to mention the studying I had to do outside of the game to learn about min/maxing, boss mechanics, etc. When your game time becomes a second job there is a problem.

It’s funny. I actually rather like it. It’s like I keep expecting it to piss me off yet it somehow never does.

I never went through a Bill Simmons phase, but I did go through a Family Guy phase as a teenager. Basically the same thing.

No, but it does mean you own a bunch of Hunter S Thompson books that you’ve never actually finished, have a Boondocks Saints poster, and know all the verses to Margaritaville.

I noticed that once I stopped smoking pot, Simmons stopped being funny. Probably not a coincidence.
